Artist Statement | Art is my Therapy. Making art heals, teaches, surprises, challenges, inspires, excites, and calms your soul. In the process when seeing my art, another might know healing, learn something, enjoy an “aha moment”, be inspired, feel excitement, experience calm, or see beauty where they might not have noticed it before. My paintings are usually in liquid watercolor and mostly representational. I paint in a “Wet in Wet” technique within small sections to achieve the hard edge effect on the outside and blended softer effects in the middle.
